Algonquin has stores and restaurants along Randall Road and Algonquin Road, shops and offices downtown, medical and eye care offices, school district buildings and businesses along the Fox River. Their window problems are familiar ones: heat and glare on storefront and office glass, privacy in offices and exam areas, and security at entrances.
Every project starts on site. David Johnson, the owner, or one of our field technicians looks at the glass type, sun exposure, framing and how the space is used, and recommends the film that fits that building. Our own crews do the installation, and our headquarters is in nearby Elgin.
Our work in Algonquin
Here are some of the projects we have completed in Algonquin. This is a sample, not a complete list of our work there.
Community Unit School District 300. At the district’s administration building, we installed Silver 20 solar control film on three doors and frosted film on two more doors in 2023, and window film in the administration office in 2026.
The Fresh Market. In 2025 we installed bronze frosted film on nine panels at the store on Randall Road.
Precision Eye Care. In 2019 we installed Slate 40 solar control film on eight storefront panels.
Claire’s. In 2020 we removed old film and installed new film on the entrance door at the Randall Road store.
Restaurants and local businesses. TrueVue 5 on a west-facing panel at Montarra Grill (2021), white frosted film on the back door at El Fuego (2017), and Silver Grey 10 on two doors at Encore Moving and Storage (2017).
