Cary has schools, manufacturers and engineering offices, and businesses along Route 14 and Three Oaks Road. Their window problems are familiar ones: heat and glare in classrooms, labs and offices, privacy in computer rooms and offices, and security at entrances.
Every project starts on site. David Johnson, the owner, or one of our field technicians looks at the glass type, sun exposure, framing and how the space is used, and recommends the film that fits that building. Our own crews do the installation, and our headquarters is in nearby Elgin.
Our work in Cary
Here are some of the projects we have completed in Cary. This is a sample, not a complete list of our work there.
Cary Junior High, Cary School District 26. We installed Sterling 60 window film on every exterior piece of glass at the school, including the skylights: more than 500 pieces of glass and more than 10,000 square feet.
Cary School District 26. The district has brought us back many times: Sentinel Plus S/S 40 solar control film on 16 cafeteria panels and window film in a classroom at Briargate School (2016), white opaque film on 42 panels in the A, B and D houses, about 1,020 square feet (2018), white opaque film on 17 panels in computer rooms, about 415 square feet (2019), and Sterling 50 on 20 panels at the district administration offices (2025).
Stryker. From 2019 to 2024 we installed Slate 20 solar control film on 126 panels and Slate 10 on 42 panels in the engineering lab at Stryker’s Cary building, about 1,560 square feet, and returned for offices.
Coilcraft. In 2017 and 2018 we installed DR15 window film in offices, conference rooms and the payroll office, and white frosted film on nine panels.
Storage IT Solutions and Duraflex. Silver 20 on four panels at Storage IT Solutions (2019) and bronze film on a lunchroom panel at Duraflex (2022).
