Oak Brook is home to corporate headquarters, Class A office buildings along 22nd Street, Butterfield Road and the I-88 corridor, medical and professional offices, and the stores of Oakbrook Center. Each brings its own window problems: heat and glare in glass-walled offices, privacy in conference rooms and exam rooms, and security at storefronts.
Every project starts on site. David Johnson, the owner, or one of our field technicians looks at the glass type, sun exposure, framing and how the space is used, and recommends the film that fits that building. Our own crews do the installation.
Our work in Oak Brook
lululemon, Oakbrook Center. lululemon wanted more security for its storefront glass. In 2023, working with Donald Borg Construction, we installed security window film with an attachment to the frame on nine storefront panels. We explain why the attachment matters in Security Film Attachment Systems Explained.
Chamberlain Group. Chamberlain needed to cut heat and glare and add daytime privacy in its gym and work lab in Oak Brook. In 2023 we installed Panorama Slate 30, a darker solar control film, on 46 panels. Like other reflective and tinted films, it gives the most privacy when it is brighter outside than inside.
Albrite Building. Since 2022 we have done several projects for this property company: a frosted band on three lobby panels at its Oakbrook Terrace building in 2022, banded film on a conference room at 1220 Kensington Road in Oak Brook in 2023, and in 2024 removal of that film and new film at a different height.
Office buildings on Windsor Drive and Butterfield Road. In 2026 we installed film on 16 arched exterior windows and in a conference room at 111 Windsor Drive, and solar control film in a suite at 3021 Butterfield Road.
Oakbrook Terrace. Next door in Oakbrook Terrace, we installed Panorama Slate 20 on ten panels at 1 Trans Am Plaza in 2022, and in 2018 removed old film and installed decorative film on 15 panels at Endodontic Associates of Illinois.
