Cicero has stores and restaurants along Cermak Road and Cicero Avenue, light industrial and warehouse buildings along Laramie Avenue and 16th Street, contractors’ offices, medical and professional offices, and schools. Their window problems are familiar ones: heat and glare in offices and stores, privacy in offices and exam areas, and security at entrances and storefronts.
Every project starts on site. David Johnson, the owner, or one of our field technicians looks at the glass type, sun exposure, framing and how the space is used, and recommends the film that fits that building. Our own crews do the installation, and our nearest field crew is based in Chicago.
Our work in Cicero
Here are some of the projects we have completed in Cicero. This is a sample, not a complete list of our work there.
A.L.L. Masonry Construction. From 2016 to 2019 we completed several window film installations for the company, including work at its South 55th Court building. The work included TrueVue 5 window film on 11 west-facing lower panels, Sentinel Plus S/S 15 reflective solar control film on nine more panels, and frosted privacy film on six interior office doors.
Walmart. In 2022 we installed window film at the Walmart on South Cicero Avenue.
